First ScaleUp Graduates Learn, Grow and Connect

In 2023, McKinstry advisors coached our inaugural cohort of five vendor participants through our ScaleUp program. ScaleUp aims to increase engagement with diverse-owned businesses and drive equity within the construction industry. McKinstry subject matter experts led educational sessions with participants on topics including project estimating, financial literacy, and supply chain management. Networking opportunities for participants are a key part of the program, and most participants are working with us on client projects.

During the June graduation, CEO Dean Allen encouraged the participants, “As you continue to build your businesses, I hope you all continue to think about how you can pay it forward and make a difference for someone else — today or in the future.”
