McKinstry Strengthens Client Focus with New Vice President of Sales & Marketing

SEATTLE (Oct. 8, 2020) — McKinstry has strengthened its commitment to sales excellence by promoting Megan Owen to the newly created position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

In her role on the executive team, Owen will lead efforts that shape McKinstry’s market-facing activities. Her focus will be centered around expanding McKinstry’s reach and evolving strategies to connect with, understand and serve clients.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to have Megan take on this new leadership role to further enable a client-focused and consultative sales excellence culture,” said Chief Market Officer Ash Awad. “Over the last five years, she has built a team capable of supporting McKinstry’s sales organization, evolve our understanding of effective sales methods and implement successful go-to-market approaches.”

Owen joined the company more than a decade ago focused on government affairs. She transitioned to support McKinstry’s national energy business where she has focused on creating demand for new products and services. Her background includes experience in the public and private sectors with an emphasis on policy, business development, and strategic planning.
