McKinstry Alliances

McKinstry Alliances are our version of employee resource groups or affinity groups. Alliances are voluntary, employee-led groups whose aim is to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace within the context of our mission, values, goals, business practices and objectives. McKinstry is proud to support six active Alliances that uplift women, employees of color, Veterans and the LGBTQ+ community. We encourage all our people to get involved to foster a culture of inclusion.

Pride Alliance

McKinstry’s Pride Alliance aims to help facilitate a safe and supportive workplace for all employees regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. The Pride Alliance works to create a culture of inclusion, create allyship between members of the LGBTQ+ community and McKinstry employees and provide learning experiences and engagement for employees to foster advocacy and support:

Unity Alliance

McKinstry’s Unity Alliance aims to recruit, retain and empower employees who identify as Black, Indigenous or people of color. The Alliance works to create education and awareness around diversity and inclusion within the McKinstry community, foster positive relationships and networks among BIPOC employees and improve the pipeline to bring more diverse talent into McKinstry:

Technical Womxn Alliance

The Technical Womxn Alliance aims to promote gender diversity and inclusion within McKinstry. This Alliance works to support and uplift women at McKinstry through professional development, internal community-building and career-focused opportunities including career coaching and industry networking:

Gender Equity Alliance

McKinstry’s Gender Equity PDX Alliance aims to foster strong and positive relationships among all women employees in Oregon and engage with women externally in the industry. The Alliance works to provide support by offering exposure to senior leaders and managers within McKinstry, uplifting women and hosting events for all employees:

Veterans Alliance

The Veterans Alliance aims to bring together employees that identify as military Veterans, family of Veterans and those at the company that have an interest in connecting with Veterans. The alliance works to support military members transitioning to civilian careers by fostering a safe environment, promoting Veteran engagement and strengthening McKinstry’s commitment to Veterans:

Mountain Womxn Alliance

McKinstry’s Mountain Womxn Alliance aims to promote the professional and personal growth of its women members in the Mountain Region. The alliance works to empower women at McKinstry, conduct community outreach and create allyship with male coworkers and members of leadership within McKinstry:
